Mayor Rolando Uy presides over final 2024 City Development Council meeting

Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy presided over the final quarter meeting of the City Development Council (CDC) on Monday, held at one of the city’s resorts. The meeting was attended by Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, members of the 20th City Council, City Hall department managers, and barangay captains from the city’s 80 barangays.

The primary items on the agenda included the endorsement and approval of the Supplemental/Annual Investment Plan, as well as the ratification of several resolutions passed by the CDC Executive Committee. The meeting also reviewed a summary of agreements made during the CDC Sectoral Meeting held on November 19-20.

In his remarks, Mayor Klarex called on all city officials to continue working together to improve the welfare of Cagayan de Oro residents. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in achieving the administration’s goals and ensuring that city development projects effectively address the needs of the community.

The City Development Council plays a crucial role in planning and coordinating the development projects for Cagayan de Oro, ensuring alignment with the city’s long-term growth and sustainability objectives. As 2024 draws to a close, the meeting serves as a reflection of the city government’s commitment to enhancing public welfare and continuing progress.
