Marikina LGU continues tree-pruning operations

Under clear skies, the Marikina City Government continued its tree-pruning operations on November 5 along Sumulong Highway in the vicinity of Barangay Santo Niño.

Mayor Marcy Teodoro has emphasized the importance of trimming overgrown branches and leaves to prevent them from being torn down or uprooted by strong winds during storms. This also helps prevent branches from getting caught in utility wires, which could pose safety hazards.

This initiative is part of the local government’s ongoing efforts to maintain public safety and ensure a secure environment for the community.
