Mandaue City recognized for excellence in child-friendly governance

Mandaue City has been recognized as one of the National Passers of the 2024 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), reflecting its commitment to child welfare and rights.

The audit, conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in collaboration with child-focused organizations, evaluates local governments on their policies and programs for child protection, health, education, and safety.

Mandaue City’s recognition underscores its sustained efforts to create a safe and supportive environment for children. Local initiatives, such as child-friendly spaces and disaster preparedness programs tailored for children, have contributed to the city’s commendable performance in the audit.
