A man was fatally stabbed by his live-in partner during a domestic dispute in Barangay Masagana, El Nido, early on December 17, police said.
The victim, identified as “Ben,” was a local band singer and resident of the area. The suspect, referred to as “Dina,” is also a resident of Barangay Masagana, according to the Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPPO).
The PPPO stated that the incident occurred while Dina was preparing food late that night. An argument between the couple escalated, and Dina allegedly stabbed Ben in the chest with a kitchen knife.
The victim was brought to El Nido Community Hospital but was declared dead on arrival, police said.
Dina is in the custody of the El Nido Municipal Police Station undergoing legal proceedings, the PPPO reported. The knife used in the incident has not been recovered while the investigation continues.
