As of 8:00 AM, the Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School located in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon held a face-to-face class dry run for the Student Orientation. After the dry run, a Parent-Teacher Association activity was then facilitated by Assistant Principal Mrs. Leonora Theresa Dador.

Likewise, at 9 in the morning, the Tugatog National High School in Malabon also held a face-to-face class dry run. In addition, Councilor Jasper Cruz, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan Tugatog, held a “Free Champorado, Free Taho, and Free Haircut” activity for the students.

The Department of Education adjusted the schedule of the school year opening to August 5, 2024. Classes should have opened last July 29, 2024, but were postponed due to Super Typhoon Carina.
