Malabon LGU provides relief to typhoon evacuees

The Malabon City Government has distributed relief packs to 91 families displaced by Typhoon Pepito. On November 18, Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, along with local officials, visited six evacuation centers in the barangays of Panghulo, Dampalit, Maysilo, Tinajeros, Longos, and TaƱong, where the evacuees are temporarily housed.

Each family received a relief pack containing 5 kilograms of rice, canned goods, and hygiene kits to assist with their immediate needs. Additionally, the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) has been providing hot meals to ensure the evacuees’ health and comfort. Mayor Sandoval expressed gratitude to the various city departments, including the CSWDD, Malabon Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the City Health Department, for their efforts during the crisis.
