Malabon LGU gives out P4K assistance to 137 solo parents

A total of 137 solo parents, who are beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), have successfully received Php 4, 000 in Capital Assistance from the Local Government on November 4 at the Malabon City Hall. This financial support was awarded following their skills training session held on September 26, 2024.

This initiative, known as “Provision of Capital Assistance for Initial Establishment of Income Generating Projects for Solo Parents,” is designed to empower solo parents by providing them with the resources needed to launch their own businesses or projects, helping them to secure their livelihoods.

The program is spearheaded by the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) and is supported by Mayor Jeannie Sandoval along with Councilors Edward Nolasco, Maricar Torres, Leslie Yambao, Len Yanga, Paulo Oreta, and Gerry Bernardo.
