Makati Mayor Abby Binay met with Palafox Associates, led by renowned architect Felino “Jun” Palafox Jr., on November 14 to discuss the Makati Poblacion Heritage Master Plan. The project aims to preserve Poblacion’s cultural heritage while revitalizing urban spaces for a thriving, community-centered district.
In her address, Mayor Binay underscored the initiative’s dual focus on preserving Makati’s historical identity and modernizing infrastructure. Also in attendance were Councilor Alcine Yabut, Makati DRRM Officer Richie Rodriguez, Ichi Yabut from the International Relations Department, Dwayne Samarista of the Museum and Cultural Affairs Office, and Barangay Captain Miko Villena. All officials reaffirmed their commitment to the project, which emphasizes heritage conservation and community empowerment.
