LTO provides aid to Typhoon Kristine-affected Bicolanos

The Land Transportation Office (LTO), led by Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, announced on October 28 that relief efforts for communities affected by Typhoon Kristine in the Bicol Region are underway. The LTO has delivered essential items, including sacks of rice, hygiene kits, and other necessities.

In response to the extensive flooding, LTO personnel in the region helped pack and distribute relief goods, with LTO Pamplona District Office serving as a repacking hub. The LTO’s efforts received commendation from Malacañang, with additional support from the DOTr. Mendoza suspended all LTO enforcers’ leaves, mobilizing them to assist in traffic management on major affected routes to facilitate smooth delivery of relief.
