MANILA – Associate Justice Fernanda Lampas-Peralta is now the presiding justice of the Court of Appeals (CA).
Lampas-Peralta took her oath before President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday in Malacañang.
Lampas-Peralta, the wife of retired Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, has been a CA Associate Justice for over 20 years.
She has been serving as acting presiding justice of the appellate court since the retirement of Presiding Justice Remedios A. Salazar Fernando in September 2023. (PNA)
