Isolated rain showers to prevail over most of PH

MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said Thursday.

Cloudy skies with rains will be experienced in Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan due to the northeasterly windflow, said weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

“Localized thunderstorms will continue to prevail over the rest of the country,” he said, adding that this will cause isolated rain showers.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas still prevail across the archipelago.

Meanwhile, Estareja said no weather disturbance is expected to form or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this week. (PNA)
