High-value suspect yields P20.4-M shabu in Bulacan

MANILA – Anti-drug operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested a high-value individual and seized around PHP20.4 million worth of shabu in Bulacan early Tuesday.

In a statement, PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PNP DEG) Director Brig. Gen. Eleazar Matta said 33-year-old alias “Marvin” was nabbed in a sting operation in Barangay Tungkong Mangga, City of San Jose del Monte at about 4:55 a.m.

The suspect yielded three kilograms of shabu and other pieces of non-drug evidence.

The arrested suspect is under police custody and would face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

The evidence were submitted to the Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis and proper disposition.

“The PNP-DEG’s latest buy-bust operation successfully neutralized a dangerous drug network, preventing further harm to local communities. With millions worth of illegal drugs seized, the community’s safety has been significantly enhanced,” Matta said. (PNA)
