DTI offers aid to flood-affected MSMEs in NegOr

By Xander Ledesma

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is assisting flood-affected micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Negros Oriental through the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program. The program provides financial support to help small businesses recover from recent flooding caused by the southwest monsoon.

This aid is part of the government’s broader support for MSMEs, which are crucial to the local economy. The PPG program aligns with national strategies to build resilience among small businesses in the Philippines, a country where MSMEs constitute a significant portion of the economic landscape.
