By Matthew Go

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal recently held a business plan writing workshop aimed at local entrepreneurs in Antipolo City. The event, part of the DTI Champs Program, saw 24 participants receive guidance on creating effective business strategies.

Facilitated by Business Counselor John Francis L. Sta. Rita, the workshop featured expert input from Melanie Convento, Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy at World Citi College Antipolo. Convento emphasized the importance of a structured business plan in today’s competitive market.

DTI Rizal Provincial Director Cleotilde M. Duran also highlighted the need for solid business planning, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The session encouraged participants to share experiences and network, further strengthening their entrepreneurial skills.

The DTI continues to support local businesses through its ongoing initiatives, which aim to foster growth and sustainability in Rizal’s business community.
