The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recognized on Monday, December 16, 25 graduates of the CHAMPS Rizal entrepreneurship program, a digital initiative designed to develop entrepreneurial skills among participants in Rizal Province.
The graduates were selected from 810 enrollees who joined the program, which offered training in areas such as basic accounting and disaster preparedness for small and medium enterprises.
DTI Provincial Director Cleotilde Duran encouraged the graduates to implement the skills they acquired and assured them of ongoing government support.
“Start small and trust the guidance of the DTI and other government agencies as you continue your entrepreneurial journeys,” Duran said.
The event also featured entrepreneur Marilou Sioson, owner of Sauce On Food House, who shared her experiences with DTI programs, including KMME-MME Online and OTOP Next Gen, which she credited for improving her business operations.
