Deadline extended for MyGrandstandStory reels competition

The Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte has extended the deadline for the #MyGrandstandStory Reels Competition, a contest that invites residents to showcase how they use the Provincial Grandstand to promote healthy lifestyles and sports development through creative 90-second video reels. Participants now have until December 6, 2024, to submit their entries.

The competition encourages individuals to highlight their health and wellness stories by featuring activities such as workouts, sports training, or other wellness exercises. The aim is to inspire the community to embrace an active lifestyle and utilize the grandstand’s facilities effectively.

Participants must upload their reels to Facebook, set the posts to public, and include the hashtags #TatakLyndon and #TatakLigOn. Entrants are also required to follow and tag the official Facebook page of Governor Lyndon Barbers to ensure their entries are recognized. The competition is open exclusively to residents of Surigao del Norte, and employees of the Provincial Government are not eligible to join.

The selection process will determine seven entries with the highest number of Facebook likes and hearts, each winning ₱1,000. The top three entries will receive ₱5,000, ₱3,000, and ₱2,000, respectively, along with exclusive tumblers for the winners.

Winners will be announced on December 11, 2024, during the Tamban sa Domingo Program hosted by Governor Lyndon Barbers. Prizes can be claimed from the Provincial Governor’s Office starting December 12, 2024.
