Davao City opens new Lingap satellite office

DAVAO CITY – The City Government of Davao has opened another satellite office for its Lingap Para sa Mahirap program. The Lingap Poblacion Satellite Office is the sixth such facility and is located within the Almendras Gymnasium compound.

Situated in the heart of the city, this new satellite office aims to cater to Dabawenyos who live far from the main Lingap office at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Bajada.

Ytalia Bohol, Officer-in-Charge of the Lingap Office, expects the satellite office to accommodate between 200 and 500 clients per day due to its convenient location.

The office is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will continue to serve clients even on holidays, except for weekends.

Lingap Para sa Mahirap is a flagship program of the city government that provides medical assistance to Dabawenyos. The program caters to requests for assistance in areas such as apparatus and prosthetics, dialysis, funeral bills, hospital bills, laboratory procedures, and medicine.

In addition to the Lingap Poblacion Satellite Office, there are five other satellite offices located in Bunawan, Toril, Marilog, Calinan, and Paquibato.
