The Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution expressing its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Atty. Alejandro “Alex” Fernandez of Dagupan City for his untimely passing.
A devoted father, a member of the legal profession, and a man whose life was deeply rooted in love for his family, the late Fernandez was the father of incumbent city councilor Michael Fernandez.
The SP stated in the resolution, sponsored by Councilors Jeslito Seen and Jose Netu Tamayo, that the late Atty. Fernandez left behind a legacy not measured by titles or years but by the lasting impact of his life on those he loved most—especially his children, including Michael, who is a member of the Dagupan City Council and its current floor leader.
The passing of a father is a loss that words can hardly describe, as it marks the quiet departure of a guiding presence whose wisdom, strength, and sacrifices shaped the lives and paths of his family, the resolution reads.
The SP paused from its deliberations to express its collective mourning and heartfelt support for the Fernandez family, sharing their sorrow and honoring the life and memory of a highly cherished individual.
