DA provides P5-M worth of vehicles to boost Davao Sur agriculture

By Sam Ramos

The Department of Agriculture (DA) in Davao Region provided three delivery vehicles worth PHP5 million to the municipality of Bansalan in Davao del Sur.

The vehicles, funded by the DA’s Kadiwa Financial Grant Assistance Program, aim to improve food access and boost farmers’ income by facilitating efficient transportation of agricultural products to markets.

The Kadiwa program connects farmers directly to consumers, reducing costs and ensuring fair prices for both producers and buyers. The additional vehicles are expected to enhance the program’s impact and benefit local farmers.

Vice Mayor Samuel Gadingan expressed gratitude to the DA for the support, recognizing the significant role of the vehicles in improving the local agricultural sector.
