Comelec launches ACM roadshow in Valenzuela City

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) launched its Automated Counting Machine (ACM) Nationwide Roadshow on December 2, 2024, at Valenzuela City Hall’s Audiovisual Room.

The event, held in partnership with the City Government of Valenzuela, marks the start of a voter education initiative ahead of the 2025 National and Local Elections and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Elections.

The roadshow introduced the public to the new ACM technology, which will be used in the upcoming elections. It provided demonstrations on how to operate the machines and explained their features, including vote verification through receipts.

The event is part of COMELEC’s effort to increase voter confidence and awareness, ensuring that citizens understand their rights and responsibilities. The roadshow will be conducted across multiple regions in preparation for the May 2025 elections.
