Central Mindanao University tops 2024 Nutritionist-Dietitians licensure exam

Central Mindanao University (CMU) has emerged as one of the top-performing schools in the 2024 Nutritionist-Dietitians Licensure Exam, achieving a 100 percent passing rate. All 49 of its examinees passed the exam, conducted on November 6-7, securing CMU’s position alongside the University of the Philippines Diliman and Los Baños campuses.

The University of Santo Tomas followed in second place with a 98.44 percent passing rate. A total of 843 out of 1,209 test-takers nationwide successfully passed the exam, representing 49 schools.

CMU’s Nutrition and Dietetics department, under the College of Human Ecology, has maintained a strong performance in licensure exams. Since 2013, it has achieved a 100 percent passing rate in nine out of eleven board exams. In 2022, CMU placed third, with 29 out of 30 examinees passing. The following year, it shared the top spot with UP Diliman and Los Baños.
