The Cebu Provincial Government has allocated a total of P21 million in infrastructure subsidies to seven local government units (LGUs) in Cebu’s second district.

During the recent Caravan of Government Services held at the Eusebio M. Sestoso Memorial Coliseum on September 24, District Board Members Stanley Caminero and Raymond Calderon, representing Governor Gwen Garcia, presented the checks to the mayors of the seven LGUs. The recipients included Alcoy Mayor Michael Sestoso, Argao Mayor Allan Sesaldo, Dalaguete Mayor Ronald Cesante, Boljoon Mayor Joie De Rama, Oslob Mayor Ronald Guaren, Santander Mayor Marites Buscato, and Samboan Mayor Tito Calderon.

Each LGU received P3 million, earmarked exclusively for infrastructure programs. These funds will be subject to the standard auditing rules and regulations as prescribed by law.
This initiative reflects the Cebu Provincial Government’s commitment to equitably distributing its resources, ensuring collective growth and development across the province.
