MANILA – Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced on Tuesday the expansion of its operations via Davao by resuming international flights and adding three new domestic routes beginning October.

On Oct. 27, the Gokongwei-led airline will fly thrice weekly to Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.

Three weekly flights between Davao and Tacloban will begin on Oct. 29.

“Through Cebu Pacific’s extensive network and value-for-money fares, more travelers from Davao will now be able what the Philippines and the rest of the world has to offer,” CEB presidet Xander Lao said in a statement, while also expressing excitement on expansion of operations in the Mindanao hub.

CEB currently services 35 domestic and 26 international destinations.

To encourage more travelers via Mindanao, CEB is offering as low as PHP1 base fare (exclusive of fees and charges) on the latest routes until Aug. 15, for travel from Oct. 21, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
