‘Career Guidance Program’ supports 300 Tondo students

Manila’s Career Guidance Advocacy Program took place on December 2, 2024, at Tondo High School, benefiting nearly 300 senior high school students. The initiative was led by the City Government of Manila under Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto, in collaboration with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Division of City Schools of Manila, and Tondo High School administration.

The program aimed to assist students in exploring their career options and preparing for life after high school. Sessions included discussions on pathways such as higher education, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship.

Organizers emphasized the importance of early career planning and resource awareness, equipping students with tools and insights for their future endeavors. The event is part of the city’s broader initiatives to support youth development and education.
