Seventy-five young participants attended the Camiguin Youth Summit at the Ugmad Site, Cong. PPR Sports Complex, to discuss pressing social issues, including cyberbullying, adolescent pregnancy, mental health, and HIV/AIDS awareness. The event was organized by the Local Youth Development Council in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and local schools.

Sessions were led by experts who provided insights and practical advice on managing the challenges faced by today’s youth. Topics ranged from responsible online behavior to mental health support and reproductive health education.

The summit highlighted the importance of youth advocacy in addressing these issues. Participants were encouraged to become active in promoting awareness and supporting their peers in navigating these challenges.

Organizers emphasized the need for continued education and community engagement to address rising concerns, particularly in rural areas where access to resources is limited. The event underscored the role of youth in driving change and fostering inclusive, informed communities.
