Caloocan City ‘Mega Job Fair’ nets 188 hires

On November 6, Caloocan City held a Mega Job Fair at the New Caloocan City Hall, resulting in the on-the-spot hiring of 188 applicants. Led by Mayor Along Malapitan, the job fair reported a 45.74% hiring rate, surpassing the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) standard 20% target. The event took place on the third floor of the Bulwagang Katipunan and attracted numerous job seekers.

The fair was coordinated by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) alongside various partner companies and agencies. Mayor Malapitan expressed appreciation for the organizations involved, particularly PESO. This initiative aligns with Caloocan’s efforts to increase employment opportunities for its residents.
