Alaminos strengthens digital transaction with E-LGU System
Residents of Alaminos City can now easily handle their government transactions following the launch of the Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System by the local government on March 2, 2026.
Alaminos City Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste spearheaded the inauguration of the digital platform together with official from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) headed by Regional Director Rachel Ann Grabador.
Through the eLGU System that is developed by the DICT under the eGov PH Super App, locals can now submit online applications for business, building, and working permits; obtain community tax certificates (CTC), civil registry documents; and secure barangay business clearances.
According to Mayor Celeste, the step is part of the broader agenda of the current administration for a complete digital transformation of agencies and local governments that aims to make public service delivery faster, clearer, and more efficient.
“With the launch of eLGU, we expect that queues at offices will be reduced, transactions will be easier, and government services will be closer as all the services are available on a single digital platform, accessible at any time and from any location,” said Mayor Celeste.
