Bulacan hospitals, health offices get new ambulances from provincial government

CITY OF MALOLOS – To ensure Bulakenyos’ better access to emergency medical services, the provincial government turned over 10 ambulances to various district hospitals and health offices at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center here on Thursday.

Governor Daniel Fernando said some of the recipients of new emergency vehicles that were purchased by the provincial government were the Bulacan Medical Center, Baliuag District Hospital, Emilio G. Perez Memorial District Hospital, and Gregorio del Pilar District Hospital, among others.

Meanwhile, the Felix T. Reyes Memorial Hospital in Barangay Pamarawan here and the Calumpit District Hospital each received refurbished ambulances from Gyeonggi Province in South Korea.

Fernando assured the public that the provincial government will continue to upgrade hospital facilities and medical equipment to meet the rising healthcare demands of the province.

“Ang pagkakaloob ng mga bagong ambulansya sa ating mga district hospital ay bahagi ng ating walang humpay na pagsusumikap na tiyakin ang mabilis at maayos na paghatid ng serbisyong medikal, lalo na sa oras ng mga emergency. Sana po ay pag-ingatan natin ang mga ito (The distribution of new ambulances to our district hospitals is part of our continuous effort to ensure fast and efficient medical services, especially during emergency cases),” the governor said. (PNA)
