The Provincial Government of Bukidnon, under the leadership of Governor Rogelio “Oneil” Roque, has officially launched the Voucher Assistance to Farmers in Crisis Situation (VAFICS) project, an initiative aimed at providing vital financial support to farmers facing challenging circumstances. This program seeks to ensure that farmers can sustain their livelihoods, overcome hardships, and continue contributing to their families and communities.
The program’s implementation is made possible through the collaboration with the Municipal Agriculture Office, led by Remedios Tonacao, and the unwavering support of local government officials, including Mayor Reynaldo “Jimboy Tebontu” S. Ang Rabanes, Vice Mayor Raymundo Batao Jr. DPA, and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan. Their dedication underscores a collective commitment to improving the welfare of the agricultural sector in Bukidnon.
The VAFICS project offers farmers a critical safety net, ensuring that they receive the necessary aid to navigate crises and maintain their agricultural productivity. By addressing the immediate needs of farmers, the program aims to bolster the resilience and sustainability of the province’s agricultural communities.
Governor Roque emphasized the importance of unity and shared responsibility in achieving a stronger and more prosperous agricultural future. The Provincial Government and its partners encourage all stakeholders to work together to ensure the success of initiatives like VAFICS, which serve as a testament to Bukidnon’s dedication to supporting its farmers.
