Filipina-British content creator Nicole Fortuna is bringing her experience of returning to the Philippines to television as a housemate on “Pinoy Big Brother: Collab Edition 3.0.”
Raised in England and now living in Bohol, Fortuna joined the program as a Kapuso housemate under the introduction “Ang Pretty Dependable Ate ng Bohol.”
She hopes the experience will deepen her understanding of Filipino culture and her own heritage, according to Bohol Island News.
Before entering the house, Fortuna shared videos about island life, travel and her family’s adjustment to living in the Philippines. She signed with Status by Sparkle in May.
A November 3 GMA profile reported that she had more than 350,000 TikTok followers and seven million likes. Her content includes learning Tagalog, fashion and reconnecting with her Filipino roots.
Her participation places that personal journey within the reality program’s shared-house setting.
