By Sam Ramos

The much-anticipated Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is making its comeback this December, bringing its 1M New Reader Mission campaign to Kagay-anons with exciting deals and a vast array of books.

From December 6 to 16, the 5th level of SM CDO Downtown will be transformed into a paradise for book lovers, featuring brand-new titles at discounts of up to 95%. Prices will start as low as PHP20, making it an event that appeals to readers of all ages and interests.

The book sale offers a diverse collection, including mysteries, children’s stories, self-help titles, and more, ensuring that every visitor finds something to take home. Beyond providing access to affordable books, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is also committed to improving literacy through its Red Readerhood initiative.

As part of the initiative, attendees can purchase books for donation at special counters set up at the venue. Donations will be directed to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to benefit children, schools, and communities with limited access to quality reading materials.

The event marks a strong finish for Big Bad Wolf Books in 2024, having started the year with a grand book sale in Cagayan de Oro. As it closes out the year, the sale continues its mission to foster a love of reading and improve literacy among Filipinos.
