The ongoing development at No. 2 Upper East Avenue is rapidly transforming Bacolod City’s commercial landscape. Situated near the country’s largest Landers branch, the site is poised to become a focal point for retail, business, and lifestyle ventures in the region.
Part of the larger Upper East project by Megaworld Corporation, the development integrates commercial spaces, residential units, and green spaces, aiming to create a modern urban district. No. 2 Upper East Avenue builds on the success of its neighboring counterpart, No. 1 Upper East Avenue, which is renowned for its Spanish-European architecture and vibrant mix of businesses.
The Upper East initiative has attracted national and international investors, with several retail brands already securing spaces in the development. The project is expected to generate thousands of jobs, both during construction and in the operational phase, boosting Bacolod’s economy.
As the first green urban township in Bacolod, Upper East incorporates eco-friendly designs, energy-efficient systems, and pedestrian-friendly spaces. The development reflects the city’s vision for sustainable urban growth while catering to the demands of modern businesses and residents.
Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Benitez lauded the project for its contribution to the city’s progress. “The Upper East is not just a development; it’s a representation of Bacolod’s potential as a modern and sustainable urban center,” he said.
The project is expected to attract more investors and tourists, solidifying Bacolod’s position as a business hub in the Visayas.
