Abby Binay leads FDR Xair handover ceremony at Japanese Ambassador’s residence

Mayor Abby Binay-Campos led the FDR Xair Handover Ceremony on December 3 at the official residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Makati City. The event celebrated the partnership between Makati, Fujifilm Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH), and the Embassy of Japan. Fujifilm donated the FDR Xair, an advanced portable X-ray machine, to the DOH to support the government’s efforts in battling tuberculosis in the Philippines.

The ceremony was also attended by other key DOH, Japanese government, Fujifilm and Makati officials, including Minister for Economic Affairs Hon. Nihei Daisuke, DOH Undersecretary Dr. Emmie Liza Perez-Chiong, FUJIFILM CEO Mr. Teiichi Goto, and FUJIFILM Philippines President and CEO Mr. Masahiro Uehara.
