92 Cagayan de Oro City Hall employees take oath of office

A total of 92 permanent and newly promoted employees from various departments of Cagayan de Oro City Hall took their oath of office at the City Mayor’s Office on Monday, marking a significant moment in the local government’s commitment to efficient public service.

Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, who officiated the ceremony, urged the employees to uphold their duties and responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. In his speech, Mayor Uy emphasized the importance of teamwork and service to the community. He stated, “Atong buhaton atong mga katungdanan, mag uban ta sa pag serbisyo sa katawhan ug atong hunahunaon permi na atong katungdanan ato jud gamiton para sa pagtabang sa katawhan” (We must carry out our duties and work together in serving the people, always keeping in mind that our responsibilities are meant to help the community).

The oath-taking ceremony took place as part of the local government’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and efficient public service. The newly sworn-in employees are now tasked with continuing the operations of various city departments, ensuring that public services are accessible and responsive to the needs of Cagayan de Oro residents.

Cagayan de Oro, the regional center of Northern Mindanao, has a long history of being a vital hub for trade, education, and government services. With the city’s steady growth and increasing urbanization, the local government continues to invest in human resources to meet the demands of a developing population.
