500 CMPI Students Graduate in Malabon Ceremony

MALABON CITY – A total of 500 students from the City of Malabon Polytechnic Institute (CMPI) graduated on December 13, 2024, during a ceremony held at the Malabon Sports Center. The graduates completed courses in various technical and vocational disciplines, including Automotive Servicing, Basic Computer, Beauty Care, Bookkeeping, Computer System Servicing, Consumer Electronics, Cookery, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Events Management, Food and Beverage, Hairdressing, Housekeeping, Linux System Administration, Motorcycle/Small Engine Service, RAC Servicing (DomRAC) NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I, and Tailoring NC II.

Mayor Jeannie Sandoval congratulated the graduates for their dedication and perseverance in completing their programs. In her address, she emphasized the importance of technical and vocational education in empowering individuals and contributing to the city’s development. Mayor Sandoval also highlighted the city government’s ongoing commitment to supporting CMPI and its students in achieving their goals.

Dr. Kaenel Bergado-Moses, Officer-in-Charge of CMPI, presented a certificate of appreciation to Mayor Sandoval in recognition of her continuous support for the institution. The mayor was also given a symbolic “Recycle Trophy” created by CMPI students, led by Student Council Alumni President Jimwil Sedoripa, as a token representing progress, advancement, and unity in Malabon.

Joining the event to celebrate the graduates’ achievements were First Gentleman Ricky Sandoval and City Councilors Edward Nolasco, Paulo Oreta, Paya Ona, Ian Borja, Leslie Yambao, and Gerry Bernardo.

CMPI, Malabon’s flagship technical-vocational institution, offers a wide range of programs designed to equip students with skills for immediate employment or entrepreneurship. The institute continues to play a vital role in providing quality education and skills training for Malabon residents, aligning with the city’s vision for inclusive growth and development.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of diplomas and certificates to the graduates, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward achieving their career aspirations.
