Approximately 27,000 court employees from across the country will convene in Cebu City in October 2025 for the national convention and sports festival of the Philippine Association of Court Employees (PACE).

Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia on Friday confirmed the city’s support for the event, which will bring together employees from first and second-level courts, including Shari’ah courts. The gathering aims to foster camaraderie and highlight athleticism among judicial staff.

PACE national president Rayson Mayor, who also serves as the Clerk of Court for Regional Trial Court Branch 279, said Cebu City was unanimously chosen as the host during a recent PACE board meeting.

“Cebu City is the heart of the Philippines. It provides easy access for participants from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,” Mayor explained.

The Cebu City Sports Center will serve as the main venue for the sports festival, with additional convention activities planned at nearby facilities. Mayor Garcia reiterated the local government’s commitment to ensuring the event’s success.
