15K PWDs receive GCs from Parañaque LGU

The City Government of Parañaque distributed gift certificates to 15, 000 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on November 6, 2024. The distribution was led by Mayor Eric L. Olivarez, along with Vice Mayor Joan Villafuerte, District 1 Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, and District 2 Congressman Gus Tambunting.

The event took place at two venues: the Ireneville Gymnasium in Barangay BF Homes and the Seaside Covered Court in Barangay Tambo. Each PWD recipient received a Php 2, 000 gift certificate, which can be used for groceries or at participating food and restaurant establishments.

This initiative was made possible through the partnership of the local government with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office, led by Dr. Sabas C. De Guzman III. The distribution is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to provide support and assistance to its PWD community.
